Breaking News: Jonny Evans Signs New Contract with Manchester United

Evans Pens Three-Year Deal at Old Trafford

Northern Ireland International Set to Remain with Red Devils until 2026

Jonny Evans has signed a new three-year contract with Manchester United, keeping him at the club until 2026. The Northern Ireland international has been a key player for the Red Devils since joining from West Bromwich Albion in August 2023, making 25 appearances in all competitions this season.

Evans' new deal is a reward for his impressive form, which has seen him establish himself as one of the most consistent defenders in the Premier League. The 36-year-old has played a pivotal role in United's recent resurgence under Erik ten Hag, helping the team keep 10 clean sheets in their last 15 games.

Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Evans began his career with Greenisland before moving to Manchester United's youth academy in 2004. He made his first-team debut for the Red Devils in 2007 and went on to win three Premier League titles, two League Cups, and the FIFA Club World Cup during his first spell at the club. After a brief stint with West Brom, he returned to Old Trafford in 2023.

Evans has also been a regular for the Northern Ireland national team, earning over 90 caps. He was part of the squad that reached the last 16 of the 2016 European Championship.
