The New York Giants and Detroit Lions will square off on Tuesday for Round 2 of their joint practices at the Giants' training camp facility in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The two teams had a spirited practice on Monday, with the Lions getting the better of things in most reports. The Lions' defense was particularly impressive, holding the Giants' offense to just three field goals.

Here are some observations from another feisty day in East Rutherford:

• The Lions' defense continued to impress, forcing three turnovers and sacking Giants quarterback Daniel Jones twice.
• The Lions' offense struggled to get going, but they did manage to score a touchdown on a pass from Jared Goff to Amon-Ra St. Brown.
• The Giants' defense also had a good day, intercepting Goff once and sacking him twice.
• The Giants' offense showed some signs of life, but they still need to improve their consistency.

Overall, it was another good day of practice for the Lions. They will look to continue their momentum when they face the Giants in a preseason game on Saturday.
